The Motorized XYZ Turntable is a three-axis rotary positioning platform developed for PCB sensor calibration and other multi-orientation test applications. Its X, Y and Z rotational axes support continuous rotation, allowing a PCB or sensor assembly to be positioned at different spatial orientations under programmable control.

The system uses stepper-motor drive and a worm-gear transmission structure. Maximum rotation speed is below 10°/s and positioning accuracy is ±0.05°. Automatic homing is included. A slip ring is integrated for applications that require cable routing during continuous three-axis rotation.

For the reference PCB configuration in this project, the fixture is designed for a 64 × 34 mm PCB with a load of up to 1 kg. The PCB uses four connections (GND, TX, RX and VDD) and is powered by a battery. The mechanical arrangement also requires each axis motor to remain at least 150 mm away from the PCB, making the platform suitable for calibration setups where motor-to-PCB separation is an important installation condition.

The controller provides three-axis control, RS232 serial communication and Ethernet connectivity. Control software and secondary-development documentation are supplied, enabling integration with automated calibration or laboratory test workflows. Motion range, fixture design, PCB interface, motor spacing and system dimensions can be customized for specific test requirements.
